We went there last week Very friendly staff with lots of fires on display at very reasonable prices They have been to do the inspection and we have placed our order An it’s due to be fitted in 2 weeks I’ll update the review with pictures when it’s finished

Unfortunately I am unable to recommend this company. We had a survey done in November to open up a bricked up chimney and fit a woodburning stove. Installers were booked for January. On the day of installation it transpired that the chimney breast was 10 cm too shallow to accommodate the flue. This was discovered during the removal of bricks when we were faced with light coming through a single layer of bricks from our adjoining neighbour's house. I am grateful to the installers who stopped short of knocking through to our neighbour's living room. I firmly believe that this should have been picked up in the survey. The company maintains that they couldn't have known (suggesting that a further hidden 10cm might have been available, this doent seem feesable to me). In any case we were not made aware of the potential problem until we were faced with a huge hole in our wall. We were told that this problem is unusual, but also advised that it happens every 12 months or so which seemed rather contradictory. We called the company to discuss refund and reimbursement for redecoration of the chimney breast, however the call was not handled professionally and the staff member hung up the phone on my husband (who was certainly agitated given the circumstances). The matter was resolved via a further phone call between me and another member of staff. A full refund was provided however the whole thing was highly stressful and I believe completely avoidable. To their credit the installers were excellent and did a good job of reinstating the wall, we appreciated their calm approach and professionalism in what was a stressful situation for us.
